Move Your Body Falls Prevention Program
The Shire of Mundaring will provide a free six week program specific to older adults aged 60 years and older that are living in the community.
Activities such as Yoga, Pilates, Zumba Gold and Tailored fitness classes will be delivered to encourage community members to move their body.
The activities aim to prevent the risk factors of falls by improving strength, flexibility and balance.

The main target audience for this program is: Older adults who want to join an exercise group, Older adults who are looking to join a sporting club or participate in a leisure activity, Older adults who are looking for local health/community services
When is the program delivered: Each activity will run once per week over a six week period starting at the end of March-May. The program includes an introductory education workshop delivered by Injury Matters.
