The Vancouver Arts Centre is an active community arts centre & gallery, with the key purpose of developing the creative capacity of our region. The Arts Centre houses a number of local art & craft groups and facilitates an annual program of exhibitions, workshops, community arts projects and performing arts events.

The Albany Men’s Resource Centre is a not-for-profit, community organisation focused on raising awareness of men’s physical, mental, and social wellbeing.
Clients are afforded the opportunity to tell their story and health concerns to a compassionate and supportive staff member. The staff member evaluates the health issue and refers the client to the appropriate agency and best possible care.
Amity Health – Albany
Amity Health provide a range of health care services to country people, including Occupational Therapy (generalist and mental health practitioners), Speech Pathology, Dietetics and Diabetes Education.
Everyone can access the services and a referral is not always needed from your GP or other Health Practitioners.
No matter what age, stage, background or ethnicity, we are here to help you through your health-related challenges and concerns.

The Albany & Regional Volunteer Service (ARVS) will assist people in the community willing and able to help not-for-profit groups to carry out the valuable services they provide.

Albany Over 50’s Association
The Albany Over 50’s Association encourages individuals aged 50 years and over to stay active in their community by joining a club or activity, or by volunteering. The Association also offer a variety of inexpensive or free activities.

Albany Men’s Shed
Albany MenShed provides an opportunity for men to contribute to each other and to their communities through learning, sharing skills, making friends and participating in MenShed projects.
Many men may not have the resources or skills to set up their own shed. Albany Menshed can provide an opportunity to use a variety of equipment, learn new skills and expand your network of friends.
The shed is open on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 8am to 1pm.
