Befriend makes it easy for people in Perth to get connected. We spark new connections through initiatives that bring people together. Once the sparks start flying, we get out of the way and leave people to connect like they were born to.

Befriend is a social enterprise sparking inclusive, connected communities.

We work in partnership with government, community organisations and local residents to nurture communities where all people belong.

Whether you’re in search of new friendships, looking to contribute to your local community or seeking to access the expertise of our team of community builders and relationships consultants, let your journey begin here!

The friendly faces of the Befriend Team are just a phone call away. Befriend HQ is based at Purpose Studio – The Platform.

Embroider’s Guild of Western Australia

The Embroiderers’ Guild of WA is a learning community for anyone with a love of embroidery, stitch and textiles. We provide avenues for those aged 8 or over to develop their embroidery and lace making skills. We welcome both beginners and experienced embroiderers.

Most of our approximately 500 members learn and practice their embroidery skills in the social and sharing environment of our many groups that meet throughout the Perth metropolitan area and regional WA.

The Guild also has an extensive and varied workshop programme, a large lending library, and a Historic Textile Collection which is open to members and the public by appointment.

The Guild also provides children’s activities during school holidays.

She Seeks Adventure

She Seeks Adventure Inc is a Not For Profit Organisation dedicated to providing women with a multitude of opportunities to explore the world outside of their comfort zone.

Our goal is to inspire women to push through their barriers and fears by providing new and challenging experiences. Our participants will meet like-minded women in a safe and inclusive environment while interacting with Mother Nature.

We promote women’s personal growth by providing adventures that build self-confidence and assist in the creation of a positive mindset.

What was initially just a program run underneath the Down Under Discoveries banner is proudly now a stand alone organisation but until such time as we get enough support, grants and financial sponsorship through for our own website, all activities and information will be found here.

Join the She Seeks Adventure community, meet like-minded women and nurture your wild spirit. We look forward to welcoming you to the She Seeks Adventure Community.
