Strength for Life – Claremont

Strength for LifeTM (formerly known as Living Longer Living Stronger) is an evidence based progressive strength training and exercise program designed specifically for the over 50’s operating in Western Australia since 2004. Progressive strength training has been shown to have a huge impact on wellbeing and quality of life. We provide a safe, fun and personalised sessions in approved facilities by expert trainers!

Before you begin Strength for Life sessions, you will need to book an appointment with your GP to get your referral form completed. For more information on the process of commencing sessions, visit https://www.cotawa.org.au/sfl-landing/participants/.

Type of service or program: Strength and balance exercise programs

The program is delivered by: Exercise Physiologist

The main target audience for this program is: Older adults with identified strength and balance issues, Older adults who want to join an exercise group

When is the program delivered: Class run every weekday at 10.30am and also on a Tuesday and Thursday at 9.30am

Cost: $85 for an initial assessment before commencing with the group class. Each class then costs $12. Rebates available for HBF members and some other private medical funds (contact your provider).
