The City of Rockingham Autumn Centre offers an active and social environment for people over the age of 50 to pursue personal interests and create support networks.  The Autumn Centre is also open to people with a disability over the age of 18 accompanied by a carer.

Long Live You – Albany, Denmark and Mount Barker

The Long Live You program is a partnership initiative of the City of Albany, Shire of Denmark and Shire of Plantagenet, offering a unique suite of physical, social and educational programs. Designed to assist in creating more active and healthier lifestyles for the Lower Great Southern 60+ community.

The program runs from a range of outdoor locations, local recreation centres and other venues such as retirement villages. There will also be exclusive pop-up
programs in various locations.

Amity Health – Albany

Amity Health provide a range of health care services to country people, including Occupational Therapy (generalist and mental health practitioners), Speech Pathology, Dietetics and Diabetes Education.

Everyone can access the services and a referral is not always needed from your GP or other Health Practitioners.

No matter what age, stage, background or ethnicity, we are here to help you through your health-related challenges and concerns.

Indigo (formerly the Independent Living Centre WA) offers solutions for greater independence and inclusion for all. Our services cover assistive technology (devices and equipment) home modifications, therapy, driving and training services.

Our experienced health professionals  have been providing Western Australians with information and advice about a wide range of assistive technology for more than 40 years including:

  • Home modifications such as grab rails, ramps and bathroom modifications
  • Mobility devices such as walkers, wheelchairs and scooters
  • Bathing, showering toileting and dressing aids
  • Telecare technology such as emergency call systems; and
  • Cushions, seating, beds and mattresses.

Our services are available for everyone. Some people may be eligible to access funding support for our services, such as through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) or other funding avenues, alternatively our services are available on a fee for service basis.
