Strength for Life – Rockingham

We are an ageing population and we want to help everyone move towards their best quality of life, which is why we’ve partnered with the Strength for Life program to run progressive strength training and group fitness classes to our over 50s.

Led by our physiotherapists and exercise physiologists, these classes are safe, fun and social and are designed to assist in conditions such as arthritis, bone density/osteoporosis, cardiovascular function, balance, mobility, cognitive function and overall wellbeing.

Strength for LifeTM (formerly known as Living Longer Living Stronger) is an evidence based progressive strength training and exercise program designed specifically for the over 50’s operating in Western Australia since 2004. Lords Gold Pilates

A fun class that improves mobility, builds strength and develops balance. A variety of Pilates based exercises performed sitting on a chair or standing with a chair for support. Informative, take-home tips to help you move more freely in your everyday life.

Lords Gold Fitness

A balance of muscle conditioning exercises and stretching designed to improve coordination, stamina, balance and mobility. Enjoy the friendly, safe and nurturing environment of this specialised session.

Lords Zumba Gold

A modified Zumba class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower-intensity. The class introduces easy-to-follow Zumba choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. Come ready to sweat and prepare to leave empowered and feeling strong.

Lords Chair Yoga

Chair yoga improves flexibility, mobility, strength, balance, coordination and general wellbeing. We use a chair for ease, safety and comfort while doing traditional yoga postures, whether sitting or standing. The class is fun, social and non-threatening and requires no previous understanding or experience of yoga.

Lords Gold Circuit

A circuit based resistance class designed to assist in the prevention and management of many age related health conditions. Emphasis on functional fitness relevant to seniors and instructed in a fun and sociable environment.

Lords Gold Energiser

Enjoy low impact, heart and lung conditioning exercises with an emphasis on functional fitness. Instructed in a fun and sociable environment. Age friendly, with an emphasis on improved mobility, strength, coordination and fun.
