Give It a Go Day Busselton

On Friday the 28th of May, Injury Matters in partnership with the City of Busselton hosted Give It a Go Day at Geographe Leisure Centre.

Anna Foley (Physiotherapist) engaged all participants in a warm up before Chair Yoga and Zumba started. Both activities were extremely popular and participants had a blast! At the completion of the exercises, Anna delivered a Q & A session whilst participants cooled down. The focus of the Q & A was the importance of building strength and challenging balance for falls prevention as part of the Stay On Your Feet® Move Your Body campaign.

We hope to replicate a similar event again soon due to the overwhelming positive feedback from participants.

Injury Matters General Manager – Injury Prevention said “Try to find activities that you enjoy to build your balance and strengthen your legs, not only will you get the physical benefits but you can enjoy with friends”.

To  find out ways to get involved visit or give us a call on 1300 30 35 40.
